Ella and Sofia opens showroom
an interior design and homewares brand named after two sydney cafes has launched a new showroom in alexandria.
the ella and sofia space aims to be more than a typical design studio.
“our new showroom is a design haven for all things interior,” says director karie soehardi. “if we don’t have something in our collection, we’ll design it, develop it and produce it – from wallpapers, furnishings to fabrics and more. our vision is to provide unique solutions to the industry.”
soehardi’s business has come a long way in five years first starting with textile prints for australian brands such as peter alexander before moving on to residential and commercial interior products and spaces.
ella and sofia has also retailed to space furniture, planet furniture and the as well as developing exclusive cushions for coco republic.
clients will find drapery, upholstery and custom designed or product development in one innovative space.
“we’re taking creativity to the next level by also using the showroom to host engaging information sessions to help our clients keep up to date with changes in the industry, incorporating guest speakers and interactive classes.”
the brand will soon launch a new children’s wallpaper, fabric and furnishing collection called cucu and missy, but will first add new products to its homewares range to be available mid year.
“we have big plans for ella and sofia this year, but overarching everything, we’re dedicated to working with clients to provide unique, quality created pieces and intelligent designs that stand the test of time.”
