Indigenous artist, Rachael Sarra, has joined forces with Kmart Australia for her latest homewares collection.
The Spirit Entwining range launches this week and includes bed linen, home décor, dining and furnishings.
Kmart is proud to bring Sarra’s stories to homes across the country, highlighting her ability to combine cultural storytelling with bold, contemporary design, shares Kmart’s head of community, Trish Briggs.

“Kmart is constantly working towards being a trusted and credible partner of First Nations peoples and this collaboration with Rachael Sarra is a testament to our commitment,” she says.
“Due to the size of our business, we have a unique opportunity to celebrate Indigenous artists, share their talents and amplify their storytelling through our products and inspire and educate both our customers and our team members.”

From vibrant pink bedspreads to vases in purple hues, this collection offers a blend of practicality and beauty. The dining range includes serve ware featuring elegant, scalloped edging—ideal for bringing joy to everyday moments or entertaining guests.
Speaking about the collaboration, Sarra adds that partnering with Kmart has been a deeply rewarding experience.

“This collection reflects my heritage and story in a way that feels bold, accessible and true to my vision. Kmart’s unwavering dedication to authenticity and cultural respect throughout this journey has been profoundly meaningful to me.
“I believe in the power that art plays to tell a story and to allow people to explore complex ideas in an engaging and inclusive way. As a First Nations artist from Goreng Goreng Country, I draw on my heritage to produce pieces that are steeped in culture, while being contemporary and future facing.”

The Rachael Sarra x Kmart Spirit Entwining collection will be available from 13 March.
