Horgans shifts direction with added design styles
European furniture and homewares wholesaler, Horgans, has expanded its focus to include more industrial and retro style pieces in its new collection.
The change in direction is a reflection of the popularity of the industrial and retro trend and part of the company’s commitment to keep up with the evolution of the market.
“We’ve chosen to work with more retro materials and colours as well as lots of geometric patterns and prints, for example, our mango wood tables with raw aluminium legs,” says a Horgans spokesperson. “We have a great selection of brilliantly coloured zig zag and diamond patterned carpets [and] we have a wonderful choice of retro style arm chairs, which come in a choice of bold brights or more neutral colours.”
While Horgans has started to include other styles of furniture in its range it will continue to stick to the French look it is known for.
“We have carefully chosen new pieces that complement our French boutique feel, so we can combine looks and give customers the option to just add a touch of our more modern styling or re-create their home completely.
“We plan to continue with our elegant and luxurious pieces for our customers who still continue with this classic style, while adding in more industrial and bold products for those who are moving towards a more contemporary feel.”
The best-seller from the new retro pieces is the Mona chair. “I think it is due to that fact that there is a colour for everyone and the styling lends itself to many different looks.”
