Reed Gift Fairs and Life Instyle have called for nominations for the first ever Gift and Life Instyle Awards (GALA) to be held February 15, 2014 at Hyde Park Doltone House.
The awards aim to celebrate and honour the work of the Australian and New Zealand gift and homewares wholesale industry.
Categories include The People Award, Retail Rep of the Year and GALA Lifetime Achievement Award. GALA will also honour suppliers in sub-sectors such as Australian made, Christmas, ethical, body bath and fragrance, children, designer, eco, fashion accessories, furniture, gadgets and novelties, gift, handmade, innovation, jewellery, kitchen and dining, stationery and toys.
“Life Instyle and Reed Gift Fairs are the most trusted and anticipated trade events in the country and the top destination for Australia’s most innovative brands and suppliers,” says Sally DeSwart, retail group director at Reed Exhibitions. “The GALA program presents another opportunity for us to embrace our community and honour the excellence of the suppliers who support our events.”
Winners will receive an award to display on their stand during Reed Gift Fairs and Life Instyle Sydney shows, media exposure and extended publicity and marketing throughout the year. Finalists and winners will be given a GALA badge to add to their website and marketing material to promote their achievement.
The event will also include a three course dinner and entertainment. Entries are now open and can be submitted online until December 6.
