kikki.K releases first craft range
Swedish stationery brand kikki.K has launched its first crafting collection to inspire customers to personalise gifts and keepsakes and create their own projects.
The range includes printed paper sheets, mini card cut-outs and wooden stamp sets. More craft products are on the way but for now the focus is on the initial pieces and a series of DIY workshops.
“I just love spending time personalising gifts, wrapping and cards, and it’s so simple for anyone to do themselves with the right tools – that’s why I’m excited about our first ever crafting collection,” says Kristina Karlsson, kikki.K founder.
Like all kikki.K collections the craft range features Swedish imagery and colours but doesn’t include products like notebooks or technology accessories. It is designed as a starting point for customers interested in getting into DIY.
Karlsson believes craft is such a popular trend at the moment because it is about getting back to more traditional hobbies and having a break from our technological culture.
“I think it has a lot to do with people warming to fun, creative, tangible DIY projects as a great excuse to step away from the screen for a little while. These days we spend so much time in front of our computers, phones and iPads, and it’s such a wonderful feeling to be able to stop and spend time creating something beautiful the original way – by putting pen to paper, using stickers, stamps and other gorgeous bits and pieces.”
