Lark launches new wholesale division
In response to a growing demand for its products, gift and homewares retailer Lark has launched a new wholesale arm, Peachy Gift, specifically aimed at independent stores.
“Over the past two years we’ve seen a huge increase in demand for fashion-led gift products,” says Allison Jones, managing director of Lark.
“Retailers are wanting to bring new collections into their stores every month to keep up with the latest design trends that their customers are seeing on Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram. To meet this demand, Lark has created a new division that is focused solely on helping independent retailers keep stores freshly stocked with fast-moving, well-priced gifts.”
It offers the latest trends in design-led gifts and boutique party ware from Rex International UK and other leading companies, with three more new brand launches scheduled for 2014.
“Peachy will have new ranges every month and we will be keeping high stock levels so that our stockists can re-order quickly when a product really takes off for them,” Jones adds.
While Lark will be operating as a retail-only brand, its wholesale customers can access Peachy with their existing log-in details.
“Lark is also now a leading Australian gift and lifestyle retailer, and we have exciting developments planned for both our online and physical Lark stores over the next few months. Having a separate team at Peachy means that we can concentrate on both retail and wholesale without any compromise.”
With its own website featuring easy online ordering, and a new team of staff headed by sales manager Dean Hobson, Peachy is now open for business and is exhibiting at Life Instyle stand 4010.
