eco-conscious wholesaler naturally sustainable has secured the australian exclusive to the bamboo bottle company and kids konserve brands.
both approached the business directly after retailers, who were purchasing the products from the us, made the recommendation.
“the bamboo bottle is a first in australia, but the kids konserve range has been in australia for a little while, but no one had been officially assigned to distribution and coverage has been minimal,” says owner tracy russell.
she explains both brands are quite different to her existing product offering and other goods on the market.
“though i do offer a lot of safe lunch style solutions, none to date are leak proof in the way of stainless steel containers and the kids konserve range has this. also from this range they offer a thermos style food jar – to keep food hot or cold – which we always get asked about but to this date have not carried.

“[the bamboo bottles] are so different from anything else on the market. they cater for hot and cold drinks [and] can be completely pulled apart for ease of cleaning. also glass is one of the safest surfaces known to man and the bamboo side of things…it is a sustainable material that is easy to grow… that is as durable as it is beautiful and offers insulation to hot and cold beverages. all plastic parts are food safe and bpa free. the bamboo bottle offers a glass insert to ensure pure refreshment for either hot or cold beverages,” she adds.
both brands will be available by the beginning of august. retailers can also see the products at the sustainable expo in sydney july 20 for trade and industry and july 21-22 for the public.
