New Chef’s Greatest website enjoys strong Christmas trading
launched in september last year, the new chef’s greatest website enjoyed strong online trading in the four weeks before christmas with australian consumers demonstrating strong demand for the company’s german kitchen brands.
some of the most popular gifts proved to be the company’s zassenhaus salt and pepper mills as well as the coffee mills from the same brand.
“many retailers across australia sold the brand in previous years but the import company discontinued,” explains director of chef’s greatest, michael stolze.
“now chef’s greatest offers well-priced direct import of zassenhaus products to australia.”
the chef’s greatest website caters to both wholesalers and consumers and is a specialist stockist of german kitchenware brands including kuchenprofi, cilio, zassenhaus, beep egg and carl mertens.
retailers need to register on the website with an australian business number (abn) and business name prior to receiving an approved discount of 50 per cent or more depending on purchase volume, while prices listed on the company’s website apply to consumers.
“in 2011 we anticipate big success for our kuchenprofi brand,” stolze predicts.
“kuchenprofi produces highest quality 18/10 stainless steel products at affordable prices. the range of kuchenprofi kitchen helpers and gadgets is huge, many of them are new to the australian market and can be only sourced though chef’s greatest.”
a feature that distinguishes stolze and his team at chef’s greatest from many other online suppliers is their willingness to attempt to source products for both retailers and consumers from their partners in germany, regardless of whether the chef’s greatest website typically offers the brand or product in question.
“the quality of our imported products is a cut above the rest. we provide extended warranty on almost all products in our range of german quality products.”
