New escape room game makes the perfect Christmas gift
If you’re looking to make staying at home this Christmas more fun for your customers, then having the just launched TRAPPED: Escape Room game packs on your store shelves might just do the trick.
Designed by escape room experts, the game packs transform any room into an escape room. Players simply put the pack contents such as wall posters, cards to display, hangers for door handles, ID cards and secret envelopes on walls and surfaces in a room of choice and then work together―or compete to beat the clock, crack the clues, solve the puzzles and escape the room.
Melissa Hamilton, product and marketing manager, U. Games Australia says escape rooms were incredibly popular until the pandemic hit.
“Escape rooms are hugely popular, but have been restricted due to Covid-19, so we’re bringing the fun to everyone to enjoy within the comfort of their own homes,” she explains.
“People are looking for new home-based entertainment that promotes family interaction, which TRAPPED does in abundance.”
Each game lasts between one and two hours and can be played by two to six people, and are suitable for eight years old and upwards. Choose from TRAPPED The Carnival and find out who will be crowned carnival king or queen, TRAPPED The Art Heist where it’s your mission to identify the painting then steal it, and TRAPPED The Bank Job where you have to open the bank vault and steal the contents. Each game includes its own content, back-story and level of difficulty.
“It makes for a great night in with friends and you can even take it to the next level by dressing in character and competing in teams. It’s also brilliant for kids and teens birthday parties when you want to make your own fun.
“TRAPPED is unlike traditional escape room tabletop games because it gets you up and moving around the room, which adds to the excitement of the game and makes it a truly immersive experience,” Hamilton adds.
