The Melbourne design team (Casa Forte) behind Strike Bowling, Holey Moley and Archie Brothers has launched a new homewares brand.
Called Polynova, the colourful metal homewares brand comes with a new website and refreshed product range of indoor and outdoor pieces including shelving, vanity units, tiled plinths, rocking chairs and serving trays, their flagship faceted sculptural animals and planters.

Designer and founder, Terence Bergagna, says Polynova is the culmination of years of behind-the-scenes designs for some of Australia’s most well-known commercial brands including Strike Bowling and Holey Moley.
“We wanted to share what we do for big hospitality and entertainment venues with people who love the outdoors and want to bring good design into their backyards,†he says.

The Polynova seed was planted years back when the team was commissioned to create eye-catching faceted metal sculptures for Archie Brothers’ Melbourne gaming arcade and for their bars in Melbourne and Sydney.
That first menagerie of a giant giraffe and a herd of crystal-like horses inspired the new brand’s distinctive style. Using pliable powder-coated aluminium, coloured in a carefully-curated colourway range, plus rustic corten steel and galvanised steel, each Polynova piece is made to endure.

“Sustainability in design is important, that’s a given. We take that further by designing and manufacturing products that can be modified, updated and re-coloured. We stand for design that people can keep forever.â€
