“During the whole pandemic and lockdowns, everyone was locked up and we were living in the best country in the world,” says Nic Martino, product director at the homewares brand, which showcased the range at Reed Gift Fairs Melbourne.
“Now that everything has opened up, where does everyone want to be? They want to be in the Mediterranean, so people are flocking to this sort of look.”
Indeed, the company secured some good orders during the fair from both existing as well as new customers.
“We’ve had very positive feedback from our loyal customers who keep coming back, which is very humbling. Not having a Melbourne fair for three years we have also seen a lot of new customers, more so than usual,” says Martino.
“All in all, we saw a steady flow of customers at our stand every single day across the board. They were confident, ready to buy and liking what they saw. There was this old-fashioned buzz about the fair, which is great.”
