Position vacant – gift and jewellery sales consultant (Expertise Events, Frenchs Forest Sydney)
Expertise Events is one of Australia’s leading event organisers delivering both consumer (B2C) and trade (B2B) events across the country.
Operating in multiple industries with events that include Oz Comic-Con, the Craft & Quilt Fairs, International Jewellery Fair, Gift & Lifestyle Fairs to name a few.
Expertise is currently looking to expand its team to align with a growing portfolio. An opportunity now exists for a gift and jewellery sales consultant to join the business in a newly created role. Joining a highly motivated team and reporting to the general manager.
The gift and jewellery sales consultant will be an experienced team player, well versed in the ins and outs of the gift and jewellery industry from a retail and wholesale perspective.
They will be responsible for working with suppliers to secure their involvement in the events and promoting their business to the thousands of retail attendees at each. The core measure of success in this role is the ability to positively impact key accounts and work with an established sales team, attaining sales targets and promoting event success.
Expertise is looking for a team player who enjoys interacting with customers and creates ongoing relationships with them. Experience working within the toy, gift, fashion, jewellery or homewares industries will be highly regarded as is experience working in privately owned businesses. The position relies on extensive and well-established CRM data, and is a mix of tele-sales, in-person visits and email engagements.
