Punky B rebrands and expands
Two years after buying wholesale costume jewellery business Punky B, Harpson believes the time is right to bring the brand under its umbrella.
From August Punky B will be trading as Harpson Accessories and managing director Nicole Harper says she is very excited with the business’ rebranding.
“After trading solely under the Punky B brand for the past two years, we recognised an opportunity to grow in the market by offering new brands that would appeal to different markets and enhance the overall offer from our company,” she explains.
Besides the new name, the company will also introduce two new fashion accessories brands including Atropico and Harper & Willo.
Atropico is all about beach and resort living and includes clutches, beach bags, necklaces and hair accessories made by a handful of ethical manufacturers in South East Asia.
Harper was inspired by her trip to Europe with her daughter for Harper & Willo’s design and concept―the aesthetic is simple, elegant and chic with a unique point of difference.
“Our jewellery collection is designed and manufactured using stainless steel and incorporates natural stones. We have put a lot of effort into not only the collection, but the packaging, as we know it is such an important point for our independent stockists.”
For the summer Punky B collection the inspiration was cruise living with a bit of Hamptons style. “Reflecting an elegant but relaxed style, our collection introduces new wood ranges and stunning matte metal pendant necklaces.
“It was such an exciting process to develop new brands, explore new ideas and create unique designs that would be great new additions to our business and we cannot wait to display our three brands at the upcoming fair”, says Harper.
Harpson Accessories will be exhibiting at Reed Gift Fairs, Gift Terrace, Stand ST1016.
