Just in time for summer, Really Useful Stuff is introducing its Burger and Slider Slabs, making it easy to create some fabulous dishes for those outdoor picnics or when entertaining at home during the festive season.
It was a no-brainer for owners Julia Clifton and Maria Georgiou, who saw something similar on social media and asked their factory to produce a large and small size of the product, which makes it quick and easy to mould your own burgers or sliders.
“All our products have to be ‘really useful’ and this is just so practical, easy to use and a super idea for a gift,” Clifton explains.
“Our products are all food preparation related, so they fit in nicely.”
She hopes that with Australians’ love for barbeques and our long hot summers the slabs will be a big hit.
“They are a perfect Christmas pressie for the BBQ-ers in the family. Dinner can literally be prepared in one minute. Any mixture can be spread on the bottom tray, pop on the sectioned lid and there you have it, perfect burgers. Great for meat, fish, veggies and also freezing pie fillings and baby food too.”
Both slabs are made from food grade safe silicone, are BPA and phthalate free, and freezer and dishwasher safe.
Clifton and Georgiou are also looking into expanding the range, as “silicone is great to work with”.
The Burger Slab retails for $29.99 and the Slider Slab for $24.99 and are available now.
