Vintage Beach Shack’s range of products based on vintage postcards has now been released in a second series after the success of the first series, which was launched at the February gift fair.
Products in the collection include cushions, block wall art and lamp shades. They are based on owner Sarah O’Neill’s stack of old postcards.
She describes the second series as a little more quirky than the first.
“The range is so unique,” she says. “The postcards are original pre-1950s, sometimes in very poor condition. We restore the images and then we manufacture the complete item in Australia.
“The first range has proved to be really popular and there are so many more beautiful images that I’m bursting to showcase as gorgeous statement piece cushions. Vintage is huge right now and [the postcard look] just gives another dimension to this trend.”
