Zipzicles now available in Australia
Retailer and wholesaler, The Kids Depot, has taken on distribution of American brand Zipzicles, adding to the company’s expanding eco-friendly range of products.
Owner Julia Clifton says she is constantly searching for new products and recently found the Zipzicles website, which also features lots of recipes.
“I am passionate about products that are practical, eco-friendly and innovative, and all boxes were ticked with the Zipzicles,” she says.
“I distribute the Munchee Mug in Australia, a snack cup with lid for toddlers, I sell and wholesale Squeezems, the fabulous reusable pouch for baby food and yoghurt, so this being an eco-friendly way to have a cold snack is great.
“They are reusable so we aren’t adding to the landfill problem every time we snack. Fill them with your choice of healthy juice, smoothies [and] even iced coffee or cocktails for adults.”
Zipzicles’ owner used to make ice lollies with son Luke, who has an allergy to food dyes. Luke came up with the idea of the Zipzicle, being an icy pole they could make at home without lolly sticks. The zip-top ice-pop bags are BPA free and come in packs of 12.
With summer almost here and plenty of warm days ahead of us, it is no surprise feedback has been positive.
“The response has been fantastic already. The weather is warming up, and a healthy icy pole has to be better than the store bought ones,” says Clifton.
