the jelly belly candy company has teamed up with australian distributor techcetera for the release of the product which is compatible with samsung galaxy s3 and iphone 4 and 4s models.
grape, very cherry, bubble gum, blueberry, wild blackberry and strawberry cheesecake flavours are available.
according to techcetera director matthew smith, the scented phone cases are a mix of old and new with jelly belly a household name since 1976 and smartphones a more recent phenomenon.
“jelly belly is global icon and has formed a recognisable part of australian pop culture,” he says. “despite being a favourite of children and teenagers the world over, adults are also no strangers to the feelings of nostalgia created by jelly belly.
“retailing for just under $25, the scented cases are a fun way for users to express their taste and individuality while still offering optimum phone protection.”
jelly belly scented cases are made from durable tpu transparent rubber and protect the back of the phone. the design is also practical with easy access points to power supply, speakers, headphone jack and lock button for ease of use.
