Jole Home finds success with bright colours
boutique bed linen business jole home has a hit product on its hands with the ziggy throw and cushion flying off its stockroom shelves.
the 100 per cent cotton piece marks a turn away from neutrals for the wholesaler instead adding watermelon, lavender and teal shades to its palette.
managing director nicole rowlands says the shift to brighter colours is in response to current trends.
“the colours are brighter this season keeping with the fashion but at the same time making sure it maintains our signature timeless factor,” she says.
“we pride ourselves on [supplying] pieces which can be passed from generation to generation and we believe this new range will surely be wrapped around a baby for many years to come.
“we will always be about quality and neutrals, however, the move into brighter colours is likely as our range will always depend on what our customer wants or needs. neutral is always a perfect canvas to work with and will always look fantastic in a room, and with fashion colours we expect they will add to and brighten up a room.”
to decide what shades should be used in the products jole home undertook some research.
“we do a lot of homework on colour forecasting as most of our range includes neutrals. every now and then though we like to introduce contrasting pieces and when we do, we want to make sure they are the right colours. this season we wanted to introduce summer bright into our children’s range as kids these days are almost as stylish as the parents and in most cases they are.”
consumers are already buzzing about the throw with the business receiving plenty of enquiries about the new product. retailers are also keen with stock set to arrive shortly already cleared for back orders. another has been placed in time to get the piece in time for christmas sales.
