Toy cars with five times power of NASCAR and jet engine unveiled
australian toy company moose enterprise has designed a superfast, mini toy vehicle which is set to change the way we think about toy cars.
the micro chargers are able to reach track-equivalent speeds or more than 1,000km/h and five times the revs per minute (rpm) of a nascar and jet engines.
they can also recharge in eight seconds with the chargers doubling as race launchers for optimum speed and less interruptions when racing.
“the micro chargers range is the result of years of scientific research to create a self-propelled vehicle capable of attaining scale speeds exceeding 1,000km/h, requiring the precise balance of mechanical and electrical properties,” says moose co-ceo paul solomon.
a team of scientists, engineers and physicists banded together to find the technology capable of making something as advanced as the micro chargers.
they found a lightweight and stable power source by using an electrochemical double layered capacitor.
“without revealing the inner-most secrets of the cars’ mechanical configuration, the key designs attributed include a highly aerodynamic body and a very specific wheel track to wheelbase configuration that result in a slippery yet very stable platform for the cars to race,” adds solomon.
